1954 CHEVROLET, RHD AUSTRALIAN DELIVERED FISHER BODY
Very fresh build rust free RHD car. Body off restoration, underbody & frame painted, new body mounts and bolts etc.Rebuilt late model '54 Chev 235 Blue Flame stright six with hardened valve seats for unleaded fuelNew HEI electronic distributor, super clean spark, reliability and fuel economy3 Speed column shift manual, very clean shift.Brand new 'Belair' style trim in deep red, with period cloth inserts. Stunning job!!Matching deep red SUEDE hoodlining & matching loop custom cut carpet (including boot).Floor and boot Dynamat fitted before carpet and underlay.New repro alloy sill scuff platesAll new suspension, king pins, shocks, etc. 2 inch loweing blocks in rear.All new chrome and professionally polished stainless trim. Additional front bumper over-riders (4 in total)All new 12 volt wiring system throughout with alternator setup.New 2 inch exhust with neat under rear bar4 x new Firestone wide-white 6.70 tyres with custom full alloy bullet capsOriginal wheel spats.'Night Crawler' deep red single colour kustom tail light lenses.Very rare boot mounted air conditioning unit (vent in rear parcel shelf), not connected.Car is painted 'Mellow Yellow' with 'Fowlers Ivory roof.Lots and lots and lots spent, vey mild kustom, could bring back to resto orig or further kustomise to your own style and preferences. **PLEASE NOTE** - custom number plates "OLSKOOL" are NOT included in sale and upon sale, I will replace with standard alpha-numeric SA rego plates at my expense. Currently 2 months SA reg on car.
This is not a concourse car but it is a super-super clean and one of the most honest examples of an unmolested RHD 54 Chev around. There are still a couple of little finishing touches that could be done (as there always are on a 60 year old car), and I have a few spares that will come with the car also.
I'm not after any trades, just a clean honest sale to this beautiful cars next custodian. This is a regrettful sale, so please dont make it any harder by stuffing me around. If you need permission, please ask before bidding. Inspection welcome by appointment, car located in SA and I am happy to assist facilitate any interstate shipping drop offs etc at buyers expense.
