1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Dr. H.T. Original 283 V-8 with power pack heads, 4 BBL. carburetor, mated to the cast iron Powerglide transmission. Has original oil bath air cleaner, Corvette aluminum valve covers. Runs and drives great with everything operating except clock. Older paint on what appears to be on original body panels except right rocker panel has been replaced in the past. Still presentable with good shine. Has some small dings and cracking in areas. Door bottoms, bottom of front fenders and lower quarters have had rust repair in the past and starting to blister out. See photo of right door shows worst spot. Solid original trunk and passenger floors. Some rust thru on floor pan braces ends and inner rockers. Stainless trim and moldings in good condition. Most of chrome is new. Interior in good condition. Has rolled and pleated side, door, and seat panels. Outside seam on driver cushion seam is split. Windshield has wiper scratches. Car was in storage for years and recently put back on the road. Brake, and fuel system completely gone thru including removing fuel tank for cleaning, transmission removed and all new seals, but still leaks, Torque converter seal was not replaced and suspect that to be what is leaking. All new fluids, fresh oil change and lube. Complete new dual exhaust system. Not a show car, but draws much attention at cruise-ins and going down the road. Enjoy as is or restore to the next level. Speedometer was just replaced with a reconditioned head. I have the original showing the actual miles. Odometer was still operating but the speedometer needle was not working.
