Description

For sale is one of the most recognized American icons in the automotive industry, the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. This rare example is a highly customized four-door Chevrolet Belair Hardtop. It is an older nut and bolt restoration that began on a rust free original and being sold from a private collection. Purchased at Mecum Auction by its current owner and only used on six occasions since 2013. This classic is for sale as the owner is ready to move on. Painted in high-gloss black with beautiful custom leather interior with leather ostrich center console. The highly-detailed engine compartment is powered by a 355 cubic inch corvette engine. It is truly stunning and loaded with lots of chrome and stainless. Click on the link below for many high resolution pictures of the exterior, interior, underside, paperwork and VIDEO. It will not disappoint. The engine compartment has been designed and built to the highest level. No expense has been spared and the list is too long to describe each component. Please take a very close look at the engine compartment and how it was put together. A little attention will bring this car to the highest level!!!

Please study pictures and ask questions. I am selling the car for a close friend, who does not know the history of the car, or does work on the car. I have no details of the build, including the engine, but judging from the level or workmanship, I believe no corners have been cut. This is truly a beautiful, show winning car! The new owner will be very happy—Car is currently registered and ready for the road, Inspections welcome!!!
