Description

I've owned this 57 since 1995. Restoring it over the years, I never had the intention of selling. My desire was to have a turnkey beautiful classic. This was never a buy, paint & flip car. An original V8 Belair hardtop stick shift, the engine and transmission was already gone when I purchased the car and a 307 automatic was in its place.
This classic was professionally painted with a professionally upgraded motor.
Every piece of chrome was replaced including both bumpers.
Every emblem was replaced including the dash trim.
A new Chevrolet 350 was purchased from Summit and installed, not a rebuild.
The cam was changed out to give it a little bit of a rough idle, headers, Edelbrock carburetor and Edelbrock engine accessories improved the engine compartment.
The builder estimated the horsepower at 350, which was perfect as I wanted a driver not a rear tire shredder.
A master cylinder from a corvette was installed to get the dual chamber brakes.
The T350 was professionally rebuilt with a mild new torque converter.
A new painless wiring harness was installed.
The interior had been updated at some point with new seat and door covers.
New front wheel bearings & brakes installed.
I was going to install rack/pinion steering as well as change out the steering column and put in a 4 speed. The clutch pedal is still under the dash. When I changed out the column, I was going to replace the speedometer, as it quit working last year. Not actual mileage listed.
It has had one oil change since the new engine- driven <750 miles. I have a brand new gold grill that will be included as well as some new not installed interior parts.Purchase History-Summit RacingFelpro valve cover gaskets 19 comp cam 268/268 .454/.454 120 MSD distributor 345 MSD coil 57 summit exhaust gaskets 28 stainless intake bolts 9 Mr. Gasketintake gaskets 22 summit distributor 115 water pump 26 summit aluminum water neck 20 summit aluminum timing cover 53 Edelbrock valve covers 130 Edelbrock valve breather 16 powder coated throttle return springs 10 summit overflow tank 25 summit chrome wheels 350 summit chrome centers 80 Edelbrock air cleaner 90 Edelbrock 650 carb 390 summit carb spacer 40 Power max starter 130 350 crate engine 2650 summit headers 396 BF Goodrich TA radials 680 Painless21-Circuit Chevy Harnesses520 Holley Aluminum Intake Manifold 225 Total - $6546Ecklers Classic Chevroletorder #amount5738489362700281751010771329292410779420107111195300374113282871911223384028212283783252

You will find cheaper ’57 Chevys out there, but for the asking price I don’t think you will find a better one. The car is not "finished" by my standards and it is not a perfect 99/100 point car, but its solid and a great buy for the money, Clear Ohio title -located in Trumbull County, OhioAgain, this is a cash or certified bank check deal, no money transfers and no iTunes gift cards- I don't care if you really are a Prince from Nigeria. As is where is with no guarantees implied or inferred.style="color: rgb(29, 33, 41); white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">
