Description
1957 Chevrolet 4-door Bel Air
Manual Transmission. Runs and drives. New tires. Interior in great shape! Paint is fair. Most all chrome is good. This would make a nice restoration car or just enjoy it the way it is.
Little rust in floors. Bodywork could have been better (a little wavy). Breaks stop well. Trans shifts fine, parking brake works fine. Glasses have little cracks
IMPORTANT! Since you are buying a car from Mexico be sure to check out the following links. The following video is CBP's guide to import a car into the U.S. style="font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(10, 10, 10); white-space: pre-wrap;">Also, feel free to search CBP's website, style="font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(10, 10, 10); white-space: pre-wrap;"> and click on Questions/Complaints for additional information.
The vehicle is located in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Monterrey is the capital of Nuevo León and is located just 130 miles from the Texas border. Laredo and McAllen are the nearest US cities.
This is a fabulous car, we enjoy driving it and seeing the people's smiles as they look at it. When parked, everybody wants to take pictures with it.
It's the best of both worlds! People who know about cars are impressed because it's a 57 Chevrolet Bel-Air that works well and people who don't know about cars are amazed because it looks like a vintage checker New York taxi cab.
Even though it's in good conditions, it's vital that a restauration procces occurs to stop the corrosion process that has happened over the years. This way the car will continue to function properly for many more years and it will continue to make many people happy.
