1954 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door!!! Rebuilt Engine/Trans! Turn Key Driver!

They have enjoyed this car all Summer and it has been to several shows and cruises. In 2016 the previous owner had the 235ci 6 cylinder and Powerglide automatic transmission professionally rebuilt. The car runs, drives, shifts and stops well. Car also has a newer carburetor and tires all around. Still listing as a project due to the fact it needs minor things here/there finished including turn signals don’t work, taillights come on when headlights are on but brake lights don’t engage. The drivers side rear window is currently out, but included and needs installed. Either a valve cover or gasket leak as I can see some oil that drips down and burns off but doesn’t effect the drive ability or reliability of the car. The carpet was removed but you can see how solid the floors and trunk are on this car and they reproduce carpet/full upholstery kits for these cars. The rear bumpers were professionally rechromed ($1,800) and it has the added accessory bumper guards in the front. Also has visor.
It’s truly one of the most rust free Bel Airs with perfect patina I have seen. Please see pictures below of the two spots on lower quarter panels on each side that show the extent of the rust on this car which is minor and easily repairable if desired. With how straight/solid this car is it wouldn’t take much to have it painted as it’s a great foundation for restoration or leave as is with the great patina. I drove the car on a 3 hour trip in July with no issues and it just cruised down the freeway. My parents have joined me at local shows/cruises with it and it has sat in traffic with no overheating etc. Car gets a lot of attention and thumbs up! Clean Washington State title. Car is turn key and ready to enjoy!
