Description
This 55 Chevy has smooth, straight body panels, no body putty, and very little rust or bubbling. The chrome is in good shape as well. The small block 350 and 3-speed automatic run smoothly - 17k miles on a rebuilt engine. You could drive it home as is. The front and rear drum brakes and steering alignment would need some work if you want to patch it up and make it a daily driver.
- Body Panels - generally great shape. Some rust along bottom of passenger side door, and above headlights.
- Floor Panels - good condition except:
1. Trunk: hole in forward, driver side area of trunk.
2. Underneath Rear Bench: small hole under rear bench seat on passenger side.
3. All other panels are good. Floor in front of driver and passenger front bench was repaired at some point.
- Hood, trunk, and both doors shut cleanly.
- Front bench seat is in good condition. Rear bench upholstery is coming apart at seams.
- Interior ceiling is in excellent condition.
- The previous owner put in a racing steering column and an electric fuel pump (in the trunk).
- No body putty.
- Clear title
Because of the problems ebay has with fake bidders and scams, if you place a leading bid on the last day above the reserve price, please message me right away with a short description of yourself or something to tell me you're a legitimate bidder. I will delete suspect bids.
Thank you and good luck!
