Description

Great old 55 wagon, can be a daily driver, or finish it off for show, Your Choice. I've had this one setting in a storage building for months, and it's time to get it to someone else. I have too many projects going on and no time for this one. I have added a new aluminum radiator, and freshened up the interior some, just to make things match. The motor is a fresh build 235 Blue Flame Six, and has just hit the 450 mile mark for break in. It has an Ofenhauser dual intake, with twin Weber carbs. I added an HEI distributor and new wires. Rebuilt the starter, and added a SunPro Tach. All the gauges work and are accurate. The motor runs great, and has a ton of torque. The manual transmission is a Muncie 21 four speed that shifts great, and no grinding. Fresh clutch and pressure plate. Also a brand new aluminum radiator, that keeps it cool, running or idling around town, and parades. No worries on the cooling. The body was all sand blasted and has a fresh Patina Paint job, (made to look old) The floor mats are all thick rubber, and has decorative rivets for looks. It was basically set up as a surfer/rat rod style. The floor pans were replaced at all foot areas, and any bad metal was removed and replaced. It will need new door and window gaskets and fuzzies. The door windows are cracked, but still function, you can replace them or drive it as it is. I have two used and in good condition wing windows that go with the car. Also I have new kick panels for the front. I did not install them because the new owner may want to install speakers with them as well. They are from Danchuck, Also have the pillar boards for the center door posts, and should be replaced with new windlaces. I have the chrome strips for the rear (top) that go with the car. I also have all the headliner hoops (original) that go as well. At the moment it has wood strips and a sail cloth headliner that looks pretty cool, and could use a little tweaking to make it perfect. A job for a good interior installer, and not a high dollar job as well. The tires are BF Goodrich white walls, and only have about 500 miles on them. As I said, you can drive her like she is, or go full boat and cash in on the price these cars are bringing today. You'll get into this one for a fraction the price of 60 grand some of them are bringing. If that's where you want to go, then this is a great start. You choose. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will assist with shipping company for loading. Once your shipper has picked up vehicle, it is shippers responsibility from there. A $1,000.00 dollar deposit via PayPal is due within 24hrs of auction end. Total balance due within 48 hours via wire transfer, or Certified Cashiers check via USPS overnight. The vehicle is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to terminate the auction early. Any questions you may have please feel free to email me, and we can discuss all items. Good luck bidding.
