Description

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air
I will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family. We are reducing are number of cars, so please see my other listings as well. I am not a dealer.
Just a beautiful original Chevrolet Belair in the original Tropical Turquoise and India Ivory. This is a numbers matching car with low miles and with very rare factory power steering. If you want a nice original, investment quality, hardtop that you can also drive and enjoy, you should give this car some serious consideration. This will be both a fun car and a great investment for the next owner.

The engine idles well, makes good power, and starts well every time. The transmission shifts well through the gears. Steers and stops very easy with the power steering and good working manual brakes. Drives straight down the road with no unusual vibrations, pulling, noises, etc. All of the original gauges work. The original radio and clock also work! The car is an absolute pleasure to drive.
This Chevy is a beautiful car everywhere you look (exterior, interior, engine compartment, trunk, etc). No rust issues to worry about with this car! Nice body and under-carriage. The interior is factory original (even the carpet). I am not sure if the exterior paint is original, but it does appear to be lacquer paint. The hood has some checking, but the paint looks great overall. The car looks great at all the shows and cruise-ins. If you want a good original with some unusual equipment here it is! Many people in 1957 were trading in older Chevys with the famous 6 cylinder and didn't want the 'new' V8 engine. It is very unusual to see a 4 Door Hardtop equipped this way (especially with PS added). Please see the photos and ask what questions you have.
I welcome inspections and appraisers. Shown by appointment.
Drive home or I can help ship this car to your door at a reduced rate via enclosed transport. If you are a long distance or overseas, I will try to work with you on the shipping. Please contact me for details.
