for auction is one Extremely Clean, Professionally Built 1957 Chevy Bel Air.
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Sport Coupe, Gorgeous paint and Leather Interior. This car had undergone a thorough restoration 2 years ago and is in Excellent condition. It’s equipped with a GM 350 Crate Motor and runs smooth & strong. I will list all the details as best I can and will answer any/all questions you may have, so feel free to call 662-560-4609 or email me through Ebay.
Exterior: The car was a completely restored, ground up & frame-off restoration and finished in 2013 with a very nicely painted Royal Metallic Blue color (DuPont Chromabase). The paint is stunning, has a deep shine and looks terrific. Billet grill with hidden parking lights. The bumpers are in excellent shape with Billet Bullets. All of the lights are clean. The body trim is straight and clean. Although it was targeted to be a trailer queen, the Chevy has been driven to car shows and there are 5 very small blemishes (rock chips, I can take additional pics if requested). I do have some touch up paint that can dress these up. The body is pristine with all of the body lines straight and consistent. All of the glass is perfect and the window rubber is all new. The side and rear windows have a nice slight tint, a good complement to the paint and interior. Powder coated chassis, very clean underneath (more pics available). Car cover included.
Engine / Drive Train: GM 350 Crate motor, runs smoothly, starts up quickly and sounds very impressive. The firewall has been slicked over, inner fenders nicely finished and hood underside is clean. Special fabricated aluminum radiator built by Four Seasons. Aftermarket cold operating A/C. The Kinetic battery is a miniature high cranking-amp unit mounted underneath the passenger fender & tucked in nicely. Wipers are 2-speed (not that you’re going to drive it in the rain). Power steering equipped & drives nice. 700R4 Automatic transmission with Over Drive feeding a 9” Ford rear-end with 3.55 gear. Wilwood 12.19 Drilled & Slotted rotors all around with Billet Calipers, new brake lines and Parking brake. Heidts 4-bar linkage. 2” Drop on the front. 16 gallon stainless steel fuel tank. Safety inspection completed in 2013.
Boss 338 rims with Yokahama Advan Sport tires: 245/40ZR18 on the front & 275/40R20 on the rear. The tires & rims are all new and very clean with very few miles on them. Mileage is estimated at 2,000 max.
Interior: A solid Rustic Color Leather Interior by Legens. Manual adjustable bucket seats, bench in the back. Matching door panels with Billet handles. Full complement of seat belts. Carpet and floor mats are all matching & clean. The headliner is perfect. The dash is by Dakota Digital with Royal Blue digital readouts along with the clock in front of the passenger seat. The only wear is a small spot on the driver side front seat (on the door side showing a little rub). Pedals are by Lokar. All of the vents look great. Pioneer MP3/CD/Stereo with a remote. Windows crank smoothly including the vent windows which have the locking mechanism in place. The center console is sleek, matching of course, and has 2 drink holders built in. The trunk is also completed professionally and looks terrific…..all top shelf work. Billet Steering wheel on an I-Did-It steering column.
This is one incredibly nice ’57 Chevy. Extremely clean, runs great and is simply one gorgeous nostalgic car. This was built ground up professionally.
