Chevrolet : Bel Air/150/210 Bel AIr

I am offering for sale a true , honest Museum Find. I recently purchased this car from a museum in North Dakota where it had been part of a static display for the last 40 years! The car was donated by the original owners in 1974. This car is in pretty good condition for a 57 year old car that has not been restored. There is a small amount of rust in the usual places for 55 Chevy,s Nothing real significant. The body mount braces are good. The floor pan braces are not and need replacing. There is a small rust hole in the trunk L.H. wheelwell. The rear trunk pans below the decklid are good. . The car had received a repaint at some time , although not a high quality one. The headlight "brows" have been repaired. Driver side rear quarter has had some repair /cracking evident/ not rusted. Stainless trim is all there and in fair to good condition. Bumpers are not in great condition Interior of car is complete and intact. seat covers aren,t great but they are original, as is rest of the interior.Has factory radio and clock When I bought the car the engine was stuck; I was able to free it up after removing cylinder head. Received a valve job, carb rebuild and new fuel pump. Now runs. Exhaust is MIA, has pipe from manifold only. Have a nearly new muffler to go with car from another 55 project. Unable to test trans. due to NO BRAKES. **please note,I want the purchaser of this car to be satisfied they got exactly what they expected. No dissapointments. I describe things honestly ,as I see them. I would rather understate things , no polished B.S. here!
