Description

NOTE:
I am bringing it to your attention that the cars condition is still in excellent condition, although during a windstorm and tree limb from a tree had fallen onto the car which caused some comprehensive damage. Those items I will describe to you, and show you pictures. For these reasons, I am parting with the car. It runs and drives impeccable. It has a few flaws now. There are before and after pictures of the car.
A. R- fender has a one inch dent from the branch.
B. L-fender has a 3-inch dent.
C. Passenger side has cosmetic scratches.
D. Driver side has only one scratch behind the drivers door, which is hardly noticeable.
E. The roof which was slightly damaged, although the sunroof is still intact and operable.
These are the flaws. Keep in mind the positives that it has. I had an estimate of damages done, and it was between $1500-2500. If you do it yourself, you can do it for less.
I had it registered just recently, to get estimates, and driving it on a once-a-week basis.
To commemorate the 1990 Indy 500, the Beretta Indy Coupe was produced in limited quantity in only 2 colors. Turquoise and Yellow. There were 1500 Yellow produced. The more limited of the two.
EXTERIOR:
This Beretta is offering 16" aluminum wheels with body colored accents and Goodyear GT Sport tiresome and special Indy graphics, as well as a sunroof and original sticker on this car. All in like new pristine condition, as when it was bought.
INTERIOR:
Unique Indy styled cloth bucket seats which are wrapped in grey tweed on the inserts, smooth suede bolsters and yellow accents in the form of a stripe wrapping the back mid-section and the seat insert. A stylized script Indy embroidery is on each headrest. The back bench maintains this motif and all seats are in new condition. A simplistic dash is all digital, including tachometer, and is in all working order. Grey carpet on the floors with no marks, and a tight headliner skirts a tinted sunroof.
DRIVETRAIN:
A 3.1 Liter V6, one of the best produced in that era. The engine compartment is show room condition. This is backed up by a 4-speed automatic 4T60E transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE:
Completely and absolutely unmarred. With strong steel framing and rust-free body hangers, rockers, ground effect floorpans, and original exhaust system. Equipped with special handling package labeled Level 4. Power front disc brakes and rear drum brakes have wear sensors on them.
DRIVE-ABILITY:
Starts like a new car, runs like a new car, and handles well. Seats grab you and the dash is visually enticing; however, keep your eyes on the road.
A time capsule preserved Special Indy Edition Pace Car Beretta, one of only 1500 made available in yellow, and certainly one of the lowest mileage examples of said model, color, and edition.
Only registered once for a brief period of its life, which accumulated the 3800 miles, and has not been registered in the last 30 years.
With that said, that I know of, I believe there are about 3 cars left in the world today, with less than 4,000 miles. There are others out there, but not in this impeccable condition.
This car is unbelievably rare, and one of the most dependable in its time.
This car is fully documented with the original:
Bill of sale receipt,
the build sheet,
the original service manual,
and the trail of documentation that follows the car.
