Description
There were only about 2900 Biscaynes made in 1971, with most of those becoming taxis or police cars. Many eventually found their way into a demolition derby or two.
This may be the lowest mileage all-original, survivor Biscayne out there. More details may be found here:

This one was a one-owner until April of this year when I bought it.
It had 52,119 miles, and had been stored in a barn for years = "barn find".
I purchased from the estate of the original owner who had passed away.
The interior was actually removed before my purchase, and vehicle was put on a lift to get some pictures.
So, I have included some photos from back when I bought it, and they show the preserved condition.
The current mileage is over 54,000 as I have enjoyed it on pleasant days over the summer and fall seasons.
Included with purchase is all documentation and records; Protect-O-Plate and original title, along with Iowa plates from 1971.
New parts include:
Radiator (good for up to 500+hp), hoses, belts, plugs, wires, distributor cap and points conversion, air and oil filters, rear coil springs, headliner, and dash cap.
The original radiator is included for repair, as it had a pin-hole leak.
It has the original full set of rims with new tires and a full size spare.
It has power steering and brakes, along with an AM radio, and working heat and defrost.
All vent cables move freely and work, as well as the emergency brake pedal and release.
Hood release pull cable and spring works.
All lights and blinkers work, including the dash indicator lights.
All glass is good and all manual windows roll up and down.
All manual door and trunk locks work and have multiple keys included, as well as an "uncut" set.
It drives just fine with a 3-speed on the column, or "3-on-the-tree" manual transmission.
Under the hood is the straight-six with the right amount of patina, true to its originality.
I have used a Lead Substitute with each full tank of ethanol-free gas.
It is not a powerhouse but gets it moving just fine for a daily driver, with almost 20 mpg, the highest rating for this model year!
It rides smooth at highway speeds and gets its share of "thumbs-up".
Also included is an extra set of front coil springs with one coil cut, along with an anti-swaybar.
Easy restoration project while you drive it, or do a big-block or LS swap and have a "sleeper"!
I would encourage preserving the original condition, but that's up to you!
It has been fun as a time warp back to simpler times, but I have a 1955 Chevy I want to build, and this is too distracting for me.
This is a rare example of an all-original, full-size Chevrolet you can purchase and enjoy immediately.
I reserve the right to end the auction if sold locally.
Shipping arrangements are the buyer's responsibility. I do have an open car trailer and can deliver for an additional negotiable fee.
