Description
I have owned this 1st Gen blazer for the last 14 years. It
is an AZ truck. I only recently relocated it to Colorado. It started out as a
for fun project, not a show style restoration. That being said, it does have
some flaws, but under the surface a lot of time and money has been put into
quality parts, especially in the drivetrain. Apologies on it being a little
dirty in the pics, been sitting int he garage for a bit, and it's a little
chilly to be detailing. Really the only thing that hasn't been touched is the
motor. I bought the truck from a guy that was restoring it with a friend. After
the friend moved, he decided to let it go. I was told at the time that the
motor was a GM crate 350 with approximately 25k miles. Other than cooling
issues early on, replacing one cracked exhaust manifold, Edelbrock intake/carb,
valve covers, HEI distributor, and typical tune up stuff, the rest of the motor
has been untouched. It is an original A/C truck. The PO had the body work done.
He had the door handles and marker lights deleted, as well as the bolt holes
for the hard top filled. The paint looks better in pictures. Looks like it
wasn't wet sanded/buffed, but it worked for me because I wasn't looking to show
the truck. There are some dents/scratches, but not from off-roading. The Left
rear was backed into by a late model Silverado in a parking lot. Didn't even
crack the tail light lenses, but did dent the metal. Drivers front quarter
panel has a crease where a buddy hit a 2 post lift while backing out of the
shop. It has seen some light trail riding, and it's been through some mud a
couple of times. No rocks or crazy off-roading. Otherwise, it's just been
driven on the road/highway. It has spent every bit of the last 12 years garaged
and on jack stands when not driven. And even the 1st couple of years I had it,
it was sitting in my family's shop. It has been driven less than 5k miles in
the last 14 years. I have paperwork and receipts for nearly all of the work
that wasn't done by myself. I'll try to hit as many of the details as possible-

I'm sure I'm missing some little stuff, but all of the big ticket items should be accounted for. When I call most of the parts "New," I don't mean they’ve been replaced recently. Most of the work was done between 2005-2008. The truck just hasn't been driven much at all since. I do have some misc stuff that will go with the truck. A set of re-upholstered buckets/rear bench seat out of later model (late 70's/early 80's K5), original interior pieces, etc. I will entertain reasonable offers. There's over $7k in fab work alone. Not really looking for trades, but I'll look at what you've got. Could be willing to deliver within 500 miles for the right offer. Free and clear title. More pics/video on request. Should go without saying, but serious inquiries only. If you don't have the funds to buy it, then don't waste my time please. Thanks for looking, and feel free to inquire with any questions you might have.
