1990 Chevy K5 Blazer 4 x 4

I bought this K5 Blazer in Dec 2006 with 76,400 miles from the original family owners(2). It was in excellent shape without any rust, had been taken very good care of and always garaged. Only one problem; it was silver and I had owned 3 of these before and they was always black. So in April 2007 I took it apart, POR-15 the frame and did complete body & Paint in black. when we put it back together I replaced all door hinges, body moldings, chrome, bumpers, grill, glass, window rubber and felts. Added a Cowl Induction hood & hinges, repainted the Cab Shell inside gray to match the Interior. The Interior is almost completely original; no tears or stains anywhere, I replaced the carpet, added a non-glare mirror with lights & compass, door panel & dash trim, custom kick panels with powered speakers, and a nice stereo system.I dont believe the back seat has been sat in more than a few times! The motor and transmission are all original with 98,455 miles on it! I have added a throttle body spacer for a little increased power and gas mileage; gets around 12 - 13 mpg, recently replaced the water pump, radiator, thermostat, idler pulleys, a/c compressor & dryer with freon recharge. Have maintained with oil changes regularly, transmission changes, plugs & wires, and all other maintnance needed. I have added a 4" lift kit with new front & rear Leaf Springs, steering arm, Sway bar & bar disconnects, upper & lower ball joints, Rancho RS5000 shocks & steering stabilizer shocks, GM 8.5 Auburn Gears, chrome covers, and lockouts. Also BFG All Terain KO 33.00 x 12.50 x 15 mounted to the Factory aluminum wheels, also a full size BFG mounted to a aluminum wheel ( have the original spare tire & wheel with cover). There is Keyless entry, Nerf Bars, Grille Gaurd with Lights, and High output headlights plus other many small detail parts & accessories that I have added not listed . This blazer has been babied, believe it or not I only drive it every spring, summer, and fall only, stored in heated garage under a cover in the winter. It has been out overnight once and in the snow once; both of those was at one time when my son who is a Fireman had to take it to work because his car broke down. EVERYTHING works on it properly including PW, PL, PBack Window, A/C, and Cruise Control.Now as with any used truck its not perfect because I do drive it, so I want to go over its issues also. The cowl Induction hood got caught in the wind one time in my driveway and it twisted it a little out of place, it needs to be removed and worked over a bit, I have the original hood that could go with it but is still silver. I did replace all the hood hinges & springs after that for a second time. Also the cabs texture was smoothed down before it was painted black, did not come out the perfecthas a few spots in it, but still looks good. The exhaust has one of the duals that probably needs fixed right by one of the chrome tips.
