1964 Chevrolet C-10

I brought this truck over from California when relocating from the Sf bay Area. This truck has history in the Bay Area as the hand painted on both sides of the bed "The Screen Shop". This not a "fake" business as this business is still in existence today and located in San Jose, CA. This classic truck was purchased in San Jose, CA by the original owner of the Screen Shop as verified by the grandson which runs the business today. The grandson still remembers when his grandfather purchased the truck back in 1964.
The painting was done by hand by a well known painter out of San Jose, CA the grandson is currently trying to gather that information for me. I purchased the truck from the grandson best friend that only had the truck for a couple of months. He had it up for sale for the grandson due to running his business and just didn't have time to deal with people and selling the truck.
As a builder, my vision was to blast, restore and repaint, but due to the overwhelming requests from everyone to keep the truck as is, plus the hand painting that was done back in 1964, everyone said to keep the body original. So, I did and focused on upgrading the mechanical parts of the truck as a Patina Hot Rod Classic with True Roots from California.

Original Rear Bumper (Diamond Plate in Excellent Condition) and brackets come with the truck as well.
Original California Rear View Mirror will also come with the truck as well as factory original Heater Box w/ hoses & hardware.
As of this posting date, Bed with chrome or stainless strips & bolts has been ordered, I am also thinking of dropping the truck with new CPP Coil and springs 3" front drop & 4" rear drop. to give it that classic California flavor. If someone is serious at buying I can customize to your taste as well. Just let me know and we will take it form there.
