Description
1969
Stepside C-10. As stock as you will ever find. Absolutely no rust, and no rust
repair. Minor dent on drivers door. See pic. Original paint (the green Chevy
paint that turns silver in the sun after 50 years. Original engine (code
V0417UM). It's a 307 (wish it were a 350), but it runs well, does not smoke.
(Although it is a bit tired. You would be too). Was told by previous owner that
the trans and rear end are also factory, but I have not checked numbers to
confirm.
Factory AC truck, and it works. I restored under the dash and the heat and AC function correctly, including vacuum operated cowl flaps. Gets a lot of looks and comments. Won't win a car show as is, but lots of people enjoy looking at the stock engine. Great truck. I've taken it 200 mile poker runs and it never has a problem (as long as we aren't going to fast). All gauges work, even the always broken ammeter. Feel free to ask any questions or request any pix.
