Description
1969 Chevrolet C10
I have a very straight clean 69 C10 in excellent condition inside and out.
For someone looking to own a True American Classic Collector Truck and don't have a lot to do this is fine the perfect truck to do it. This truck can be Restored to its original factory condition. It's all there.
Numbers matching on engine, tranny etc
History: Was bought brand new in 69 at the Chevrolet Dealer in Arco, ID by a gentleman from Mackay,ID.
He used it for his carpentry business. Light use just hauling lumber. That's it and it really shows. The bed is not beat up like most. Has scratches and paint peeling off and a little surface rust. That's it! No dents on wheel wells at all.
He owned it for most of its life then sold to a friend in Challis,ID
This gentleman stored it inside his shop.
I bought it from him 2 years ago. My dream truck. Had been looking for this exact year and color everything since I was 5 years old. Have parked it and stored it. Planning on restoring it back to all original factory condition.
Then life happened.. I got sick with Lyme Disease and everything went downhill in a hurry. My treatments and medical bills have wiped me completely out. So long sad story short I have to sell it.
I want someone who will restore it back to its original factory condition. Sky Blue Body with White cab. I always wanted to cut the frame and make it a short bed though. That would be the only thing I would change. Everything else stock. That's really what it should be brought back to. Someone to give my dream a reality and make it come to life.
I would love to see progress pics of the whole restoration and see the end result in person and get to drive it!!
The interior is beautiful.
The only bad news is the original factory 350 got too hot on the original owner and got a small crack in one of the cylinder heads:/ he pulled and saved motor. It just needs re-sleeved. So the original motor comes with truck and the truck only has just over 100,000 original miles. I will look again and update post.
So right now it has another 350 in it out of a wrecked truck.
The original motor has the v notch on block. So this is the highest compression 350 motor put in this year. She will be fast once original engine is re-sleeved and installed.
It's a 2 wheel drive
Automatic
And the cherry
