This truck was purchased in Dallas, TX and has been in this area since new. The second owner purchased this truck from the wife of the first owner after he passed. The original owner supposedly used this truck as his fishing truck, as you can see the bed is in amazing condition and I'm sure the camper helped. I was told that the truck had been sitting for about 20 years so the second owner had the original engine rebuilt with adding performance features including a mild cam, intake, headers and electronic ignition. I bought the truck from the second owner after he stopped driving it for about a year and all we needed to do was fluids and a new Carburator as the old one was a Holly that just would not hold an idle. The truck also had an aftermarket steering wheel that we replaced with a correct original style one, replaced the carpet as it was original and was torn in many places, the floor is solid. The seat still has its original factory brown vinyl seat cover.
Detailed Condition Notes
This truck is a solid All North Texas Truck. The second owner had the fuel filler and tank relocated and had some paint touched-up in places; so I had our painter do a professional touchup, wet sand and buff to bring back the shine. The truck is overall a solid truck with documented history that makes a great truck for someone to drive and make even better. The only item that I know the trucks needs is the speedometer or speedometer cable will need replaced. The A/C parts all look to be in place other then the compressor has been removed and you made need to replace the fan switch or the fan motor.
