Chevrolet: C-10 C10

I bought this 71 Chevy C10 SWB last April here in Fresno Ca. from the original owners daughter after he passed away. It was sold new at M&M Chevrolet in Newman, Ca. & I have the build sheet which is still in really nice shape. It has the Inflation Fighter Package on the SPID which is still on the glovebox. It was Chevy's answer to the higher gas prices back in 71 which was the 250ci 6cyl. & the 3OTT manual transmission. Since then I have replaced both driver & passenger inner & outter rockers & lower door pillars which both had rust. The only rust that remains is a small hole on the lower drivers side fender behind the tire. I put new tires & lowered it 4/6 with McGaughy's lowered coil's & new shocks. As far as the interior I installed a new carpet kit with sound deadening material underneath, had the seat recovered, new dash pad, new steering wheel & arm rests. The original color was Medium Blue which is still on the dash & the firewall with the original pen marking's from the guy's on the assembly line but was repainted a darker blue in the late 80's. The dash is clean & uncut & houses a 8 track stereo. All the lights, gauges, wipers & horn work as they should. All the glass is good & has a new regulator on the drivers window along with new rubbers on both doors. Just installed new bumpers along with all new light lenses. I've also done a new heater core, water pump & altenator in the past few months. The clutch operates nice & smooth as do the brakes. This is a nice running daily driver truck but is by no means a show truck it has some flaws. I also have more picture's I can send if your interested in the truck. The truck currently has the white wheels on it but you can choose between the two they both have like new tires on them. If the 6 cyl. isn't what your looking for I have a 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 V8 & 4L60 Transmission (Aprox. 90K. miles) with the harness that I would sell with the truck.
