Description

Beautiful and original 1968 Camaro Rally Sport convertible purchased from the original owner. Low miles, and garaged its whole life. Beautiful and 100% rust free body with 100% original interior and top. Like new, its not often you find a survivor like this! We have all the original paper work. Including the pro-tecto plate, original purchase order, original dealer plate frames with paper inserts from Mission Chevrolet in California. I even have the original keys, which have the dealer name Mission Chevrolet embossed on them. Has the original mat in the trunk, and original spare. Open the glove box and the dealer sticker is still there along with the tire pressure sticker. Everything works, including the little things like the door buzzer, the light under the hood and in the glove box. Just like new. This car is equipped with the optional 275hp 327 and power glide transmission. Front and rear spoilers, power steering and brakes, with manual top. Sounds and looks excellent with the dual exhaust and redline tires with the rally wheels. This is a true investment quality rally sport camaro. Runs and drives perfect!
*****That is the original add and original photos when I purchased this car off E Bay in 2006*****. I paid either $30K or $35K for it. I don't recall. I purchased the car from Summers Classic Car Co in Eugene OR. I then had the car shipped back to MI. In 12 years I have put 711 miles on it. All photos in ad are photos of photos. They are the original photos taken and used in the 2006 E Bay transaction. The car has been in a garage in Gaylord MI. for the past 10 years on jack stands and has not moved once. I recently sold the home and no longer have a place to store the car. I recently trailer-ed the car down to South Lyon to my home where it is today. I was surprised after installing a new battery the car fired right up. After 10 years. I expected some sort of problem. None at all. I drove it out of the garage and onto a trailer for the ride to South Lyon, MI.
I don't know a lot about cars but I will answer whatever questions I can. I purchased this car back in 2006 because of a love for the Camaro. I would not be selling today other than the fact that I really dont have anywhere to store the car now that I sold my vacation home.
I can help with shipping.

This car was purchased in 2006 from Summers Classic Car Co in Eugene OR. They are still in business today and can be found online.
The description and all photos are from original E Bay listing in 2006 when I purchased the vehicle right here on E Bay.
To avoid any confusion. Photos in ad are pictures of pictures. The pictures were Summers Classic Car Co pictures used in ad when I purchased the vehicle 12 years ago. It was easier than uncovering the vehicle and taking new pictures as the vehicle is currently put away and covered up.
Thanks for looking at my car.
