1980 Chevrolet Camaro

1980 Z28 Camaro. Very solid, un-restored, well taken care of Z28. The " L " engine code in the VIN means this is a real Z28, as only Z28's came with a 350 in 1980. No rust on this car, except for a very small area on the underside of the trunk lid. Interior is in very good shape. One small crack in the original dash. Headliner upholstery will need to be redone. Carpet is original, so it shows some age. Drivers seat was re-upholstered with original style covers, and I have the upholstery for the passenger seat as well, all though it doesn't need it. 350 engine was rebuilt , so it has very low miles. It's bored .030 , has a mild cam and Edelbrock intake. Original Quadrajet carb works great, and original air cleaner mates up to the cowl induction just as it did when new. . Turbo 350 auto trnas works perfect, and was also rebuilt including a shift kit. Shifts very firm. Power steering is effortless, power breaks work well. This is a perfectly reliable , great driving car. Was recently driven on a 400 mile trip, and was a real pleasure to drive. It has a flowmaster dual exhuast system with a great sound. The Alpine cassette stereo I believe to be original. Nothing cut on this car anywhere. It is not a show car, but it would be hard to find one in this condition that has not been restored. Has a few dings and scratches, but definitely an eye catcher. I have a new speedometer cable that will come with the car. ( it just broke) Factory Tachometer works great. The little nob for the windshield wipers broke off long ago, but you can still operate it. The A/C will work when charged, but has a leak. Car has a new high capacity aluminum radiator to help it stay cool. Front tires are a few years old, back tires have less than 5K miles. The original bronze color is rare, because it's a one year only color, (that's why the color code is 80 ) . This car also has the more desirable z28 snowflake wheels. I can send more pics as requested. The trunk has the original carpet and still includes the original spare, tire tool, and bumper jack. All glass in great shape. Buyer responsible for shipping.
