This survivor has always been garage kept. It has original yellow orange paint and stripes. Original interior in excellent condition. Original 4 speed in floor with no console. Original AM/FM radio. Although it has 85,000 miles it is hard to tell. Always garaged and never driven in bad weather. I have all paper work from day 1 to now. Engine and suspension has been rebuilt about half way through it's life. I have all the receipts. Engine appears to be stock when you pop the hood but it's had some performance upgrades done to engine when rebuilt. Number matching short block was rebuilt and on the top half dart steel heads, bow tie intake, comp cam, headers, MSD and Holley double pumper carb was added. Engine appears stock because new parts painted to match. This car runs better then my 69 Z28 and sounds great. Especially the nice lopey idle. The underneath of car looks just as solid as the body and paint. The body is pretty much rust free but does have one dent on bottom of passenger front fender. (see pic). Also previous owner had in garage and looks like whatever was parked next to it left a lot of dings on drivers side door. I was thinking about letting dent wizard remove them but they never really bothered me that bad.
It's exciting, it's virile, it's a legend. Owning and driving a Z28 is a rare experience enjoyed most by those who enjoy driving the most. Distinctive louvers in the front fenders and the simulated air induction scoop in the hood set Z28 apart from the crowd. Beneath the sloping hood you'll find a 350 cu. in. V8 with four-barrel carburetion. A 4-speed close -ratio manual transmission and special 3.73 performance ratio rear axle get the power to the white lettered GR70-15 steel-belted radials mounted on special Z28 body colored seven inch wheels. A special sport suspension helps you keep in touch with the road. The cockpit features simulated cord wrapped steering wheel, special instrumentation, including: tachometer, voltmeter, temperature gage and electric clock. You also get a space- saving stowaway spare tire. Also included : Z28 identification and accent striping, a rear spoiler, dual sport mirrors ( drivers side remote controlled) and black finished grille and reveal moldings around windshield and rear window, black-finished headlight and parking light bezels.
