Description

1970 Camaro. VIN has a "1" in it but the Az clear title says it's a 70.
It is 100% street legal and currently registered and insured in Arizona. Full Cage/tubbed. 350 with lots of chrome. Old double hump heads with a moderate amount of work.nice lumpy cam and 750 carb with polished intake and headers. T350 transI forget exactly what gears are in the rear end..3.90 ish if I recall. It has power assist steering. The motor and car have about 9,000 miles on them since the build. 4 wheel disc brakes. The interior is minimalistic with 2 seats, the roll cage, seat belts and full dyna mat and carpet ( a couple of pictures may show the interior before those were both put in). It has a really nice Pioneer stereo/speakers/ampwhich was a mistake because the car is loud enough to drown it out. There is a horn and turn signals..but, no wipers and no a/c or heater or glove box. The seats recline but do not slide forwards or back. Side markers and handles have been shaved and the doors and trunk are operated with a remote. There is a hidden manual popper in the event of a lost remote or dead battery. Spilt front bumper with custom grill. Fuel cell in the trunk with the battery. The pictures pretty much tell the story.
This probably not going to be your daily driver.not because of any mechanical issues, but it's very low to the ground..it will scrape the mufflers on speed bumps if you don't go slowly (they are directly below the seats by the way)..and, it's loud, which is probably another reason it won't be your daily driverbut, with that camsweet sounds. It also has a ladder bar rear suspension..so, don't expect it to be a barcalounger. There are no power accessories. Big fat MT's on the rear and nice and skinny fronts. Hood is fiberglass and fully removableThe entire front clip is easily removable as well with plug ins on the headlights/wiring etc. The front fenders and front end are all in 1 piece for easy removal. All switches are mounted on the roll cage (Alston Chassis) You have many, many, many optionsok5 optionswhich include: Power, fuel (electric fuel pump), fan, lights and accessories (radio)..but, heythat push button start is some high tech stuff. There is no speedo or odometerthere is a tach, oil, temp and gas gauge. Since the pictures were taken, it has been fully dyna matted and carpeted and door cards were added.
Point beingit's a toynot a restored classic or even a $60K resto-modIt is what it iswhich is a nice car. And, it's priced well below anything you'd find that was even close to similar. What does it need? I never replaced the chrome trim around the back window so it's not thereThe rear bumper is not super shiny like the front 2. Beyond that---it needs nothing. I've sold cars here on eBay before and a couple of motorcyclesnothing but perfect reviews. I'm not trying to pawn off something that isn't what it looks like. I have an old 1950 Chevy 5 Window, a motorcycle and a new (to me) Jag F-Type Rand no space for all of them. P.S. the bike can be had for $9,500 and the Truck for $38k--$60k for the 3 pieces--lol
Thanks for looking
