Description

1972 Chevy Camaro in good driver quality condition ready to drive. I bought the car about 12 years ago and just don't drive it enough any more to justify keeping it. The 454 big block engine starts and runs great every time with Demon carburetor, MSD Ignition system, stainless steel long tube headers, dual exhaust, turbo mufflers, power steering, power brakes, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator and chrome radiator cover. The cam shaft does not produce enough vacuum for firm breaks so an auxiliary MP vacuum pump was added and the brakes are firm. The automatic transmission shifts clean and firm. The car had a fuel cell in the trunk when I bought it but I put a new Camaro gas tank in which left some holes in the trunk (see photo). New BF Goodrich tires on restored Camaro rally wheels, new chrome lug nuts, new stainless steel trim rings and new bow tie center caps. The interior is in fantastic shape with restored center console, black vinyl bucket seats, tight head liner, clean door panels, after market 3 spoke steering wheel, original instrument console, new Sony CDX-CA810X Xplod AM/FM/XM/CD stereo with Sony XS-V6943 4-way speakers, twin Sony XS-L101P5 10" sub woofers and Sony XM-475GSX 800W Amp. The body has some rust coming thru in front of the rear windows and the bottoms of the doors. The black paint is in good shape but has some chips and scratches. The high rise hood looks great on this black car and the windows have a dark black limo tint. The chrome and stainless is in good condition but could use polishing. New Painless wiring harness and battery disconnect switch. All of the lights work except the backup light which I just noticed today. The horn does not work and I don't think the fuel gauge works. The car looks great from 20' but is not a show car. It located in Waukegan, IL and available for inspection and a test drive. The car is being sold as is where is, buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
