Up for sale is a fantastic example of a completely original, 1987 Camaro IROC Z28 that has been in California it's whole life. The paint is original, the wheels are original, the upholstery is original and everything is untouched exactly the way the factory had built the car back in 1987. The car has a few cosmetic flaws as seen in the pictures. But overall, this is probably one of the best examples you will find of an untouched car.
The car has been in indoor, temperature controlled storage since 2018. My customer had brought the car to my shop to get it back on the road and running. After changing the oil, cleaning out the fuel and replacing the battery, she fired right up and runs and drives excellent! The mileage is 88,900. This car needs absolutely nothing to be roadworthy, daily driven and enjoyed, although a professional detail job/machine polish would make this car even better.
Please observe the pictures closely and you will see how fantastic this car truly is. In the ad, I did not include any pictures of the underside of the car because what you see on the outside is how nice the underside of the car is. There is not a single spot of metal that needs to be replaced. I can send pictures upon request but I figured the ad was best showcasing the car's true originality and how well preserved it is. Even the leather case for the t-tops which is included with the car is also in fantastic shape. It does have a few minor scratches and chips in the paint, but there isn't one ding or dent anywhere.
The r12 air conditioning could use a charge and the amp gauge doesn't work, aside from that everything works exactly as it should. All lights, power mirrors, power locks, power windows, radio etc. When I power washed this car after it had come out of storage, I noticed that even the t-tops do not leak a drop into the car, the doors open and shut exactly as they should with no sagging. This is just a very high quality, very well preserved classic muscle car. The automatic overdrive transmission shifts firm and exactly on point. The tuned port injection 305 Chevrolet delivers plenty of power, the brakes have a great feel and the steering is nimble.

My customer who is 72, recieved the car from his mother in law in 2005, she was the original owner. The owner is an older gentleman, so the car has never been beaten, raced or modified, it has been respected and cared for.
