Description

Hello. You are bidding on a 1969 Camaro standard V8 coupe. This is NOT an SS, RS, Z28, etc. It is originally equipped with 307 engine, TH350 transmission, ten bolt rear end, bucket seats, console, and factory a/c. Original color is white with blue standard interior. This car has not been on the road since 1987 and still has the old square California pink title from Southern California. Title is clear, not salvage. Restoration was started but never completed.
Condition is as follows:
All parts pictured come with the car, plus, not pictured are,,,,original front bucket seats and rear bench seats, front inner wheel wells, professionally rebuilt original engine, rebuilt rear end with 308 gears and new axles, and a TH350 transmission. Subframe was powdercoated, and body bushings were replaced with new. Control arm bushings and ball joints are new also.
The car sat under a carport as is for many years as is. Body is in excellent condition as you can see in the detailed pictures. This body was never in a serious accident, framerails, etc are excellent. Any rust you see in the pictures is light surface rust only. The car has no serious rust or rot. The only thing close to rust are a few pinholes at the base of the rear window and a few on the passengers side of the lower trunk floor. None of which need panel replacement, but that is it. The rear quarter panels and Taillight panel were replaced at the beginning of the restoration and some panels were blasted to bare steel. The quarters and taillight panel appear to be GM units and fit well. All other bolt on panels also appear to be original GM. Floors, rocker panels, framerails, rocker panels, roof etc, are original to the car and have never been replaced. This was NOT a vinyl top car originally. Roof and window channels are solid, no rust or bondo.
All items below are very solid, straight, and have no rust.
Roof, window channels, dash, doorjambs, rocker panels, trunk extensions, quarters, taillight panel, shock mounts, floors, cowl, firewall, drains, and all front sheetmetal. All front sheetmetal appears to be GM, other than one fender extension and hood latch support. This car will need a light media blast and minor bodywork only. Nothing more than a skimcoat of body filler needed.
Overall:
Excellent body, worthy project.

Potential Buyers:

I have described this car honestly and to the best of my knowledge, but please, if you need additional pictures, or have any specific questions, please ask BEFORE bidding as this sale is final with no warranty. Please understand, this is a 40+year old car, so expect normal wear and tear based on mileage and my decription. Serious buyers can feel free to call me with any questions (530) 307-8973. If I don`t answer, please LEAVE A MESSAGE and I WILL call you back!! Lowball offers will not receive a response, I am not out of work, losing my house, etc. I also reserve the right to end auction at any time for local sale. Yes, this car is available in person for inspection at any time before the end of auction as I have nothing to hide.
