Description
THIS IS ONE AWESOME LOOKING Z28!!!
A REAL Z28!
A NONE AIR CAR(BORN WITHOUT AIR)!
Originally out of Ca,but came to Tx 8 years ago.
My buddy who previously owned it basically did all of its restoration and he spent rt @ $9,000.00 in doing so.
Has a same era Corvette mtr(has a lite cam and flowmaster mufflers so it runs/sounds AWESOME)!
Has a new $350.00 Edlebrock carb,
$500.00 alone was spent on having wheels professionally polished, andthen new BFG's were mounted on wheels, then, new paint/new ctr caps.
Car received pretty much a restored interior(new:carpet, recoveredseats, headliner, door panel's,new dash overlay and a brand new $350.00center console).
And,I just added some BRAND NEW RED GM FLOORMAT'S.
My buddy who restored it works for a high end automotive paint storehere in Houston and whenever he has something painted,it gets paintedwith the BEST PPG materials out there!
Then,he pays a painter who he sells paint to to do the BEST paint job possible.
SO BOTTOM LINE,CAR HAS ONE NICE PAINT JOB!!!
Car runs, drives, and looks GREAT,however,it needs some very minorTLC(needs rt seatbelt installed but I have it,a new sunvisor which I had but it'ssomewhere in my storage so I can't guarantee it will go with sale,it willneed turn signal switch replaced, which I have, and,it will need a littlepaint touch up work in a few places but very minor).
Car has been garaged/stored since restored in 2007.
I sold my buddy my Avalanche and wanted Z so I talked him into trading it in on Avalanche so that it could park it next to my same eraT/A in my garage(love c'n the 2 together) but I currently need garage space due to having3 car's in my 2 car garage.
Again,9 GRAND was put into this baby(wholesale)and to make car 100%,it could use around a GRAND spent on it(ALL MINOR STUFF).
Plus, car has other $ spent on it like with all new weather seals, both front grille's are new,it has a new windshield, and etc!
Not the best pic of the motor I know but overall,it looks good minus it having too small of an air cleaner(I bought it new off of eBay but seller sent a smaller one than I had bought/wanted ?).
One more thing that will need fixing too is,MY FAULT, I accidentally drove car with its park brake on(only a block) and I think that it only came loose where 2 parts meet, nothing appears to be broken.
I just looked at all of the pics that I just posted. Clear lense/cover for vent/heat control is off but I have it. Original was broken and my buddy had removed it and then I won one here on eBay and just never put it on.
I'm trying to be as accurate and honest as I can be but remember,we r dealing with 36 year old car here.
All and all though, this is a BEAUTIFUL car that gets a crazy amount of attention(my buddy swears that it always got way more attention than his '70 Chevelle SS does).
If u r the lucky winner,I will require a $1,000.00 PayPal deposit to be pd immediately at auctions' end.
And,if needed I can recommend a fast/reasonably priced auto transporter.
Thanks for looking!
