It was ordered during the GM bankruptcy backin October 2008(1st day possible). The salesman couldn't even tell the ownerany facts at the time about the car. He had to school him during the bench work order process. It was ordered with the black rallystripes which were left in the gm box.Once he learned that they were dealerinstalled only when the car arrived.. This was after being told the stripes would be factory painted when the car was ordered 7 months earlier. He was also told it was well within the first 10000 cars produced but just missed the very early first recall where GM held back about 5000 cars to re route the battery cables. It is avery early production car which has the very short lived GM global all brands mark ofexcellence Chiclets on the fenders, GM performance plaque on the radsupport and no back up sensors on the rear bumper mask. These are 3 little options thatare hard to get all on one car from the factory unless it was an early production. This tells you it's early production anda little special if that stuff matters to you. This is a Canadian Car ordered and located currently in western Canada. Title is in hand and free and clear of any liens. So no hassles for the next owner. The buyer will have to deal with all shipping and export if going to the USA. The seller will assist the buyer with the process and any US customs / broker needs. The exporting process is pretty straight forward. The car can be brought to the US boarder if needed near Vancouver, B.C.
The car was Factory ordered by the original owner and stored in a heated indoor spaceever since the car was received. Truly has never seen rain ever. Only hand washed a couple times with distilled water. No nasty stubborn water marks anywhere. The car was delivered without being handled by thedetail crew. Still has most of the factory GM wrapping & tear away film present inside. (see photo's). It was only acid bathed like any car which arrives to your dealer after truck and train transport from GM's plant in Ontario. Perfect car to stay in a collection status. No room forthis one anymore. Thinning out the collection. Time to move it on. The first owner did the first 6 years of baby sitting now you can do the rest.
