The year was 1967, Chevrolet introduces a new car, the Camaro to compete with the popular Ford Mustang and did they succeed, producing one of the most iconic muscle cars of all time. Chevrolet produced approximately 220,906 Camaros in 1967. Only 64,842 of those were the RS. The following list will detail all the FACTORY options this beautiful car has and just how RARE of a find this particular 1967 Camaro RS really is.

After reading all of the above options, you now know what a fantastic find this 1967 Camaro is. This car was loaded with luxury back in 1967. This car is equipped with a 327 engine that has been machined and rebuilt professionally from a well respected engine builder. The engine is date coded 1968. Bored .030 with a mild cam and sounds awesome. Brand new factory style exhaust manifolds, factory style dual exhaust. New Edlebrock 4 BBL carb on stock intake. The fuel system is ALL new. Fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel tank and sender unit.This car had factory air and is now equipped with a new vintage air system. All hoses, belts, fuel lines are all new. Upgraded to HEI distributor, hi output 1 wire alternator. The transmission is a professionally built 1968 Powerglide Automatic with RARE column shift. The car was originally equipped with power drum brakes and has been converted to power front disc brakes. All aspects of the braking system are brand new. This has the correct porportioning valve located under the drivers floorboard that ONLY the RS had. Two speed windshield wipers. New complete American Auto Wire Harness. All wiring is new. All new front headlight system, electric motors, actuators, relays and harness ALL new. Original rear end with a 3.08 gear, non-positrac. All new suspension, all front end pieces, all shocks, all new rubber seals and body mounts. Everything about this suspension is NEW.
This Camaro was originally Granada Gold with a black top. It is now Sierra Fawn with a black top. Has an after market cowl inducted hood. All chrome, trim, door handles, door locks, emblems, bumpers, grill are NEW. The only piece of trim that is not new is the lower vinyl top trim which is in nice shape. Has original floor pan which is in GREAT shape no rust or patch work of any kind, this car looks just as nice underneath as it does on the outside. Center trunk pan was replaced due a few small rust holes. Quarter panels are original and rust free. New windshield and rear glass. Side glass are original and in nice shape. Interior has front bucket seats and the RARE fold down back seat also has the rare metal seatbacks. The seats have been recovered new foam in front seats, new carpet, new seat belts, new door panels, new dash pad. EVERYTHING in the interior is NEW with the exception of the steering wheel which is in great shape and has the ULTRA RARE TILT COLUMN. It does have the original air conditioning vents and original POWER WINDOW switches. Original heater control which has been converted to the vintage air fly by wire system. Custom Auto Sound original style radio. All door seals, weather stripping and rubber bumpers, including the trunk seal are NEW. This Camaro has 15" Chevrolet Rally Wheels with new chrome trim and disc brake centers. The rear tires are 255 60 R15 and the front tires are215 65 R15 made by BF Goodrich radial TA's.
