2012 COPO Camaro 327 with 4 liter Whipple

The ultimate COPO! No Copo is more rare than the 2012 version with the 327 ci engine with the 4 liter Whipple supercharger. The car is sitting in my garage today, ready to be picked up by its new owner. COPO #27 of 69 built. Of the three engine packages offered by GM, this is the baddest, fastest one, with the 327 ci engine, and the 4 liter Whipple supercharger. This engine package benefits from improvements not available on the lesser COPOs, including a larger, 172mm oval blade Whipple throttle body, larger 105 lb/hr High-impedance fuel injectors, stronger transmission input shaft made of Vasco material, a ATI Racing Treemaster MRT series torque converter with a larger 9" housing, and 22 element sprag with dual cage construction, and of course the 4 liter Whipple supercharger. Again, none of these enhancements were offered on any other COPOs - just the 327 with the 4 liter Whipple. This is also the lightest-weight COPO offered by GM. This is the fastest and quickest COPO ever offered by GM, including the 2013 and 2014 versions. As the COPO program is under continuous development, this example benefits from the latest cooling improvements in the form of a new, redesigned radiator, along with other more subtle improvements. Because GM wants COPO owners to race their cars, I was provided with tips and suggestions on improving the car's performance, directly from the techs developing the cars. I am willing to share this info with the new owner.
If you are a collector, I can assure you that the car is in completely original condition, right down to the plastic on the floor and the rear of the seats. Although hard to see in the pictures, the car has the flat black COPO logo package on the hood and rear fenders. All original purchace documentation is included with the vehicle, showing that I am the original owner.
The car has recently been updated with the very latest Holley fuel injection software, and the new six-bolt cylinder heads offered by GM to those planning on competing with the car. The original cylinder heads are included as well. Meticulously tuned and dyno tested by Ed Hutchinson of HiTech Tuning, the car makes over 790 hp to the wheels, over 950 hp at the crank. This is with a safe, conservative tune. My mechanic's friends at ATI, the company that provides all the COPO automatic transmissions, have run 8.70s with their nearly identical car. I say nearly identical because their car actually makes LESS horsepower. Other than hooking up the included transbrake, this car is completely ready to go. It has still never been down the track. Brand new. The car is in perfect condition. In terms of rarity, condition, or performance, you simply can not do better than this COPO.
The car is being offered locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if the car sells. Pick-up and transportation are the responsibility of the buyer. A $5,000.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's end, and full payment in the form of a certified check is due upon pick-up.
