Description
1987 Caprice Landau
1987 is the last year of the Caprice Coupe, 2 door
I have owned this car for 3 years and have been working on it since the first week I owned it.
Can be a daily driver easily.
Everything works. POWER EVERYTHING
ZERO RUST
New Interior (cost $9k) - Pink Marine Vinyl took 4 months to do, not a 1 weekend job.
Carpet is wool and imported from Europe
Door panels totally rebuilt
Dash new and covered
New seat belts that match
New landau top, white vinyl
New door handles
New Paint (cost $10k) - 1959 Cadillac Persian Sand Pink metallic paint
I have had this car painted 3 times to get it right.
Body work is laser straight
Ceramic coated and paint buffed after curing for 5 months $1.4k
All trim polished - Trim polished in Florida by @THETRIMLADY
$800
Motor rebuilt - cost $5k
Transmission rebuilt - cost $2k
New suspension, bushings, shocks - cost $800
New AC components, literally ice cold - cost $1k
New 1.5" white wall tires with less than 200 miles on them - $400
Brand new NOS Landau badges - $250
Many clips to hold the trim on for this car were 3D printed.
The concept of this car was to leave it OG with a tasteful twist.
Bumpers are original (not perfect) and honestly could be upgraded with the bumper guards.
I have many Caprice's and this one is the nicest and cleanest one I own. Selling to finance the next project.
BEFORE AND AFTER photos to see how it was when i bought it vs now.
Well over $40k invested in this car with purchase of vehicle.
Come and see it.
