1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

Absolutely stunning, just out of FULL restoration, rust free, 1966 Chevelle Malibu 2 door hardtop V8. Highlights include: Beautiful, freshly painted, hand polished, factory color in GM Tropic Turquoise Code L-L from body tag (see photo). Paint is modern BC/CC finish. All floorpans, trunk, and rocker panels are solid! New engine and transmission (details below). New OEM SS style gauge pack factory option (Oil Pres/Water Temp and Fuel/Volt Meter). New OEM headlight and ignition dash switches. New OEM clock in factory option period correct center console. SunPro Tachometer tastefully mounted center under dash just above console clock in an existing bolt hole. New steel fuel tank. New bumpers front and rear. New windshield and all other glass in good condition. All original stainless steel grill/body trim pieces are installed in very nice hand polished condition. New light bulbs all around including 4 headlights. Blemish free interior in factory original color of Medium Turquoise. Front buckets and rear bench seats in mint condition. New black carpet and restored seatbelts in beautiful condition. New black dash pad and fresh dash/sill paint in Medium Turquoise. New black door and kick panels. New BF Goodrich TA Radial tires. Originally a 327 V8 car that has been upgraded to a new Chevy 355/370 HP crate motor with aluminum heads from Tri-Star Performance. Motor has less than 5000 miles on it! This Chevelle has a NICE rumble with LOTS of power and dual exhaust. It is a serious head turner! Transmission is a rebuilt Chevy 700R4 coupled to a period correct center console shifter. Less than 500 miles on transmission rebuild. Milage shows 2214 on working speedo but has likely turned over. Not an issue with new drivetrain and wheel bearings. Absolutely EVERYTHING on this car works perfectly including brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, switches, horn, door handles, locks, window cranks (all operate smoothly up and down), etc, right down to the glove box light! This classic was originally purchased in Norfolk VA at Kline Chevrolet in Aug, 1966. Comes with original Protect-O-Plate in first owner's name and 1966 Chevelle owners manual still in the car (see photos)! Private seller/restorer, retired Navy officer with attention to detail.
