1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

For your consideration. Frame off. Everything replaced. No expense spared, restored, well thought out and highly detailed street strip1968 Chevelle Malibu 300 . Not for the purists or faint of heart. Bought as an unfinished but near completed car. Base coat clear coat factory original phathom blue paint color with added old school style two tone corvette white top. Body is straight and has no rust. I would describe paint as a mid to high end driver quality paint. 4” fiberglass cowl bolt on hood. Fiberglass bumpers. The rest of car is steel. Way to much to list. Brand new interior including headliner. Done in factory ivory with all new factory foam and I had the roll cage padding wrapped in ivory to match. Simpson 4 point racing harness both seats. Fat mat sound deadning. No back seat. Powder coated Fab 9 rear end with Auburn true track with 3:89 gear. Moser axles. Hotchins sway bar. Muncie Auto Gear M23 with Lakewood scattershield. Centerforce clutch. Muncie comp plus shifter with launch control. Custom drive shaft. Brand new 3” Pypes race pro full exhaust. 454 4 bolt main marine block 30 over completely rebuilt with recipes. Brodex aluminum race right heads with roller rockers stud girtles etc Only the best parts used in engine and built by a NASCAR engine builder. Will give information to serious parties. 11:1 compression built for nitrous and pump gas. Edlebrock polished hi rise with dual Holley 750’s. Please look at pictures. Built to pass tech inspection at track. MSD 6AL Hooker Super Comp headers. Shaved firewall and no heat. Car has been spoiled with a 50/50 mix of 93 and C12 but pump gas is no problem. Brand new painless wiring with 20 circuit panel. Custom dash with endless amount of gauges. Electric fuel pump. Boxed in frame with roll cage. 10 gallon fuel cell. Battery in trunk with shut off.
Fully detailed top to bottom. Underside of car completely detailed and waxed. Front power disc brakes. No power steering. Built as a street strip show car. Comes with original protect O plate and lots of paperwork. Car has lots more than description. Car has 1800 miles since frame off. Please note that it has no windshield wipers installed but comes with the parts to get working. Horn stopped working but have not trouble shot. Small dent in corner of passenger door due to metal bar smacking into it but I do have a guy coming this week to remove it.
