Vehicle Original VIN : 136379K429317
Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is pleased to present a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu in a beautiful Glossy Black with well cared for Black Interior.
The Malibu was a trim line of the Chevelle from 1964-1983 and only became a separate line in 1978. The second generation of Malibu was produced from 1968-1973 and was completely restyled in 1968. The 1969 model received new front grills, new rear decks and revised headlights. The previous 327 was replaced with a new 350 5.7L with a THM 350 Transmission.
This example of Chevelle Malibu was restored and was in good condition prior to restoration. There was no rust at the time of restoration and all body panels are original with the exception of the hood, but the original hood is included in the sale. The mirror finish Black paint was applied seven years ago. The car began as a 350 and retains its original drive train with the original 12 bolt rear end. This was a highly optioned Chevelle and included the “fiber optic viglite lamp monitoring system" that needs to be hooked up. Vintage A/C was installed and blows nice and cold. The interior has been completely redone to originality with heating elements added to the front seats.
The underside was undercoated for added insulation and noise reduction as well as the inside cabin, interior door panels and fenders have been layered with sound deadening. The car has a very smooth and quite ride while remaining nice and cool inside. It took approximately 8 years to for the restoration and has about 250 miles on it since completion. [ omitted ].
There are nice Chevelle's out there but very few that are able to match this one in terms of beauty, attention to detail and consideration of what makes a good driving car. This is one of those Chevelle's that come on to the market seldom. [ omitted ]. [ omitted ]. [ omitted ].
