This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 Convertible is a real-deal Super Sport with its numbers-matching big block still under the hood.
A Chevelle convertible is always a rarity, but to have a real-deal 138-code SS396 with L-89 Aluminum heads with 375hp and be a droptop is a true muscle car dream. The package is nicely coordinated with the red paint and SS badges that go nicely with the black convertible top. A proper SS396 like this has a cool hint of a dark side, too. The special trim package makes the blacked-out Super Sport grille look like it flows right down to the black rockers that run the full length of the car.
The black interior coordinates nicely with the overall theme seen on the exterior. So that makes for a well-done package inside and out. Two bucket seats up front and bench seating in the rear give you plenty of space to share the classic convertible experience with family and friends.
