I bought this corvette for the fun of rebuilding it and also having something to drive the wife around in. Unfortunately like so many others the wife got pregnant and she needs to make room.
This Corvette was imported in 2005. I am the third owner of the car and I can tell you the following.
2006 - Brand New Chev 350 - 4 bolt was fitted to the car from Eagle Auto Parts, cost $6100
Vette Connection has done most of work on this car. Pretty much the following has been replaced brand new Gearbox Extension housing seals, Half Shafts and U Joints, Spring Cousins, Diff Nose Bush, Strut bushes gaskets, Shift Indicator Plate, Pretty much the full interior has been replaced brand new from the states. Tail lights replaced. The list of replacement parts is in the $10,000+ mark. Basically everything mechanical has been replaced new.
Corporate Autobody in Thomastown have done the following. Completely replaced the floor pan with new floor pan from the states. Replaced the complete radiator housing. Removed and replaced rusted areas in the windscreen frame.
I cant list all the items that have been replaced for new on this car. I still have so many spares and new parts to replace for this corvette. It was a labour of love.
You will see from the photos that the door skins have been removed (They are new). I was in the middle of replacing the window motors for new. Whilst this car has everything mechanically done to it there is always something with a car this old. So don't expect something perfect.
BUT if you want a car that I can provide the complete history, all the receipts for EVERY purchase on EVERY part (The folder is almost two inches thick). Then this will be the car for you,
I am open to offers. It needs to go.
