Description
Hi, Up for sale is my
1966 Chevrolet, 4 door pillarless, factory RHD, Impala
Originaly delivered in Australia, it came with a 327 small block engine, 2 speed powerglide and 12 bolt diff
Its been an ongoing project for a number of years, however I just don't have time anymore to complete it.
Its had a body off restoration of the chassis, which was blasted, 2 pack black respray, full rebush in the front and a fully adjustable Hotchkis kit fitted to the rear. It has bigger swaybars and disc brake front end.
The body has been stripped down, rust cut out and resprayed about 6 years ago. The underside has been blasted around all seams, joins and supports, whole floor then sprayed in rust converter then painted in stone guard.
It was fitted back together with new body mounts and bolts.
The interior has been retrimmed with new moulded carpet, repro door cards, repro seat covers and repro hood lining. Seats were torn completely down, frames cleaned up, then all new foam, straps and covers.
The interiors got a new steering wheel, window winders, door handles, arm rests, knobs, switches, sunvisors, mirrors, harnesses, lights, dash pad and reco steering coloumn.
Outside its got a new rubber kit, brake booster and master cylinder, tail lights, indicators, head lights, key lock set, fuel tank and laminated windscreen.
All side and back windows are original and all windows are with the car.
Nearly all parts for this car have been brought new. With all the old ones kept. It comes with boxes of new parts, window rubbers and front harness. Bumpers need a rechrome but are in overall good condition.
Engine was stripped a while ago but is all there and trans has never been opened. Selectors feel as if they work.
Car was not running when I brought it however it was complete. It had a few dints but very little rust.
Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions.
