Description
--Rare, rust free 1962 Chevy II Nova 400 convertible (<25,000 produced). In original condition and good running order. Has been stored more than driven in its 60 year life.--From Wikipedia: "The 1962 Chevy II came in three series and five body styles—the 100 Series, 300 Series and Nova 400 Series. The sportiest-looking of the lot was the US$2,475 ($21,175 in 2020 dollars) Nova 400 convertible—23,741 were produced that year."
--Previous owner had vehicle stored in Oklahoma for last 26 years and did not drive it. Prior to that, she lived in New Mexico but started her life in Texas. She's lived her whole life in the dry southern climate and it shows (no rust). Purchased from deceased owner's daughter with Bill of Sale; now has a new Oklahoma title.
--Current owner performed minor repairs and maintenance to get in good running order again and has driven it as a weekend cruiser and has taken it to a few car shows.
--New items include: fuel tank, fuel pump, ignition wires, alternator (have original generator to include), master cylinder, brake shoes, water pump, radiator repair/flush, 5 new tires, boot for convertible top.
--She is a solid original vehicle ready for a new owner and ready for weekend driving or full restoration. You won't find a better car as a starting point to get her ready for her next 60 years.
--Needs: a new convertible top, new gaskets (dried out and leak oil), springs rearched, seats/interior redone, and lock cylinder for trunk (no key and had to be drilled out).
