For Sale is a 1996 Chevy C1500 2WD Truck with 8FT Bed and W/T Package. The truck was purchased brand new by my Grandfather in December 1995 from a local Chevrolet dealership. He rarely used the truck and I don't believe he ever drove it in the winter except for when he picked it up from the dealership when he bought it. It has only 9,311 original miles on it and is in excellent condition. The truck has always been stored indoors and is completely original (No Repaint, Modifications, etc.). It is a smoke free vehicle as well.
My grandfather passed away in June 2014 and I have since inherited the truck. I did change the title to my name (Hence the reason the AutoCheck report list it as having 2 owners) and have been using the truck as my daily driver since my grandfather's passing. The truck runs and drives perfect and has no mechanical issues at all. Everything works (AC, Heater, Lights, Gauges, Radio/Clock, Etc.) as they should. The body does have some scratches from age and a few paint chips, but has absolutely NO rust spots/holes/or bubbling. The original window sticker and some other paperwork along with the manuals/brochures are included with the vehicle.
Here is a list of things I have done to the truck since inheriting it (I have receipts for everything I have done):
1. New Duralast Battery - 6/14
2. New Wiper Blades - 6/14
3. New Accessory Belt - 6/14
4. New Accessory Belt Tensioner - 6/14
5. New Master Brake Cylinder Gasket - 7/14
6. New Fuel Pump and Strainer - 10/14
7. New Rear Wheel Brake Cylinders - 10/14
8. Tires Rotated and Balanced - 10/14
9. Full Professional Interior and Exterior Detailing - 11/14
This truck needs absolutely nothing done to it and is ready to be driven. I was planning to keep it for myself long term and the only reason I am selling is because I need a slightly larger truck for my business that I am starting. I really like the truck and it was a very hard decision for me to make to sell it. I have set the reserve at what I feel is a fair price for the truck based on it's condition and low miles.
The truck is being sold "As-Is" with no returns or guarantees. I have a clean Indiana title for the vehicle in hand. What you see in the pictures is what you are buying. If you are the winning bidder, you are more than welcome to test drive it when you pick it up to make sure the truck is as I have described it above. Please Note: I do drive the truck a few times a week, so the mileage may be a bit higher than 9,311 miles when the buyer actually picks up the truck.
Local Pickup Only (Truck is located in Goshen, IN 46528). $500 Deposit due within 48 hours of the auction's end. I will give the buyer until 11/29/14 (The Saturday after Thanksgiving) to pick up and pay for the remainder of the vehicle. If you have less than 5 feedback ratings, please contact me before bidding.
