1978 CHEVROLET C20 PERFECT RESTORATION PROJECT OR DRIVE IT LIKE IT IS

Here is a true survivor! I have owned it for over 10 years. It spent its early life in sunny California. After I bought it, I DROVE it from California to Wisconsin! It’s been garaged in Wisconsin since then. Of course you may not want to drive it across country now because the (matching) tires are old. If someone bet me one million dollars that it wouldn’t make it to California, I would take them up on it - It starts, runs, stops and theoretically would drive anywhere (I would keep it between 55-60 MPH. The cruise works. Dual tanks. Of course I would go through the belts, hoses, etc. I changed it to synthetic oil a couple of years ago. The gears aren’t suited for 75-80 MPH. This truck doesn’t smoke, tick or knock.This baby was manufactured as a top-of-the line pick up truck. Yes, it’s a Camper Special. It is equipped with air, power steering/brakes, 454 big block with the turbo 400 transmission. I can tell you just about everything about it and forgot about some things too. The truck is 100% complete. I put an electric fuel pump on when I just couldn’t get the mechanical pump to stop bending the
arm.
I call this a survivor because it has been untouched. Just to be clear, it isn’t a trailer queen show truck but it is loved and valued enough to put Wisconsin Collector License Plates on. The title is clean and clear and in my name. The passenger door has a crease from rubbing the garage door with the wide mirror.The paint has been untouched. The interior is complete and through current mail order companies, the seat covers, dash pad, etc. are easily available - you won’t need to search forever for impossible parts. All glass is good. There is no reserve. The truck is being offered for sale locally so bid now!
