Description
For sale:
1986 Chevrolet K20 4x4, factory 4-speed manual transmission.
There are few other trucks that are as iconic as a squarebody Chevy and mine has "the look". Small lift, slight forward rake, steel cowl hood, two-tone paint, 8 hole aluminum wheelsit grabs attention anywhere it goes.
It has a tried and true small block 350 engine mated to a factory 4 speed transmission that shifts as it should. It fires right up every time, idles smoothly, and doesn't smoke.
The person I bought this truck from did opt to use a cab that was in much better condition than the original. That being said, the cab is from an 81 C series GMC. This is what shows on the title. HOWEVER, he thankfully kept the original tag that shows the original vin and options for this truck and the truck is true to those options.
It is not a garage queen. If you want a show truck you'll easily pay twice the amouont. The paint shows well but is by no means perfect. I would rate it a 5 footer. Has some chips, dings, sanding marks, etc.
I've had a few squarebodies and the drivability of this one far exeeds any of the others I've owned. Cruises comfortably at 65mph, no shakes, shimmies, or wobbles. It is well sorted out.
Drive it everyday or just to church.push the clutch in, fire it up, put your right hand on that shifter and go. You will not be disappointed.
