What a nice find! This 2008 Chevrolet Colorado Pickup is one of the nicest untouched trucks you would ever find. It has been so well kept it is in better shape than most vehicles that are one or two years old. It looks even better than the day it rolled off the showroom as it has always been kept inside and detailed regularly. This truck has stayed in the same family since new until April of 2016 when I purchased it showing then only 15,750 miles. The original owner that purchased it new passed away in May of 2014 and then had gifted it to his immediate family. I have keep the vehicle inside as well and have detailed it just like any car guy would over the year and a half that I have owned it. I looked for several months and almost one year before I found this one as I wanted a "like New" truck with low miles. There just are not many at all left as most have well over 100,000 miles and have been trashed and abused. Not this one. It has been adult driven its entire life. The photos do not do this truck any justice until you actually see it in person and the quality and details of the truck. Down to the engine compartment and chassis are all like new with no rust or corrosion. This truck was not used in the harsh winter months to get all of the salt rust and debris underneath. I used the truck for the year and a half regularly, but kept on top of it and would not let the truck get too dirty. When I purchased the truck I did buy those new American Racing Chrome Plated 17 X 8 AR893 Wheels and new Sumitomo Touring Tires sizes LXT235/60R17. These tires and wheels are still like new with no curb markings and plenty of tread life left in them. I rotate them at every 6,000 miles and have a log when that was done. I did save the original steel wheels and tires and those are still in great shape and do go with the sale of the truck.
All four original wheels and tires are matching and in excellent condition and could easily be used again if need be. I also added several other things such as the top bed rail caps from GM along with the rear tailgate top cap protector to match the bed rail caps. These items were all purchased at my local GM dealer and all receipts kept in a portfolio. I also added a GM rubber bed mat as the factory GM bedliner stuff tends to shift around on the liner and with the factory rubber mat it fits nicely over the plastic liner and any items you are hauling will not move around. As you can see in the photos of the liner removed, the bed was never used and does not have any dings nor any scratches at all. It is near perfect new condition. These photos were taken just a few weeks ago and I personally removed this factory liner and took the photos to show that nothing was covered up as most liners are installed to cover any damage up. Not this truck. This liner was a GM one and I was told that it was in the truck when it was delivered new to the dealer. I do take the tailgate and had a local source do the Armathane "truck Bed Coating" on it to finish the black look out. I also removed the air conditioning vents along with the center portion of the dash surrounding the radio and had it professionally painted in Victory Red to match the exterior color. This was done by the GM local dealership and does make for a nice accent to the interior of the truck. Other nice additions include all matching tinted window glass, Class III trailer tow hitch, 3M clear bra paint protection wrapped on the front end of the hood, edges of the doors, and the headlamps to prevent stone chips and nicks. This film can easily be removed without harm to the paint. I did also purchase a GM underhood insulator not only for looks underneath the hood, but also quiets any engine or road noise.
The Exterior color is Victory Red and the Interior color is Medium Pewter Cloth upholstery. The color combination is nice and the interior color being as light colored as it is, makes for a much cooler interior in those hot summer months. The overall paint is very nice. Only a few nicks on the lower bottom portion of the truck where the tires sometimes will through any road debris up. The photos show some of the lower portions of the rockers on the truck and clearly still is very nice. I am just picking the truck as most people will not even notice anything. The body has no door dents or dings as well and the windshield is not cracked or chipped up. I did replace the wiper blades with correct GM ones and not those you find in the local auto parts stores that do not look good at all. The front and rear bumpers are factory chrome and still look very nice along with the front grill assembly. The plastic door handles and trim along with the mirror caps are not faded or oxidized as most from being left outside.
The interior of the truck is just like new. Non-smoker vehicle and well kept with no tears or any where on the seats or upholstery. No stains at all on any of the upholstery. The door panels look nice and the dash assembly along with the steering wheel shows not any wear. The truck came with the vinyl flooring which makes for easy cleaning but a nice set of carpeted floor mats have been added. All of the seatbelts and plastic trim are in excellent condition. As you can see in the one photo the sill plates and lower rockers getting into and out of the truck are not all scuffed and scratched up. These areas are usually show alot of wear but this one still looks like new.
The engine compartment looks like the day it was new. I have kept it clean and wiped it down a couple times over the year I have owned the truck. I did recently replace the battery with a GM Delco one along with a new GM air filter as well. I have always serviced the truck using Mobil 1 5W30 Synthetic Oil and it never has used any while driving. In fact the truck has no leaks or any issues that I am aware of. The belt and hoses all look in great condition. When I bought the truck the windshield wiper washer pump was not working and I had the local dealer replace that because I wanted everything to work. That item and one tire sensor is all I have ever had to fix on the truck. As you probably can see in the photos I tried to keep on top of anything that would go wrong and really nothing major at all has. It has been a real great truck but have purchased another one and do not need two is the reason for selling this one.
The underneath is as clean as the top side as you can see in the two photos. The original spare tire and wheel has never been used and the underside is really amazing if you were to crawl up underneath and view. Nothing has been altered or customized other than the wheels that can be easily changed back. The engine and transmission is all stock as well as the drivetrain. The truck has the trailer hitch receiver, but I really have not pulled anything behind the truck other than a small motorcycle trailer maybe one or two times.
The truck will impress you if you drive it. It has plenty of power and runs down the road at 70 or 80 mph like nobody's business. It does keep up with the traffic fine and is very peppy in my opinion. It also gets great gas mileage up to 25 MPG plus depending on driving habits. With the 5-Speed Manual Transmission it is fun and easy to drive. This also makes it accomplish better gas mileage with the manual transmission.

Everything does work on the truck including cold air conditioning. I have also serviced the truck and rotated the tires and the truck needs nothing. Ready do drive anywhere. Would make a great second car or a very first beginner truck for someone just starting to drive. Very reliable and dependable. I would not be afraid to use this truck daily and put many miles on it. It is as close to like buying a brand new truck with out paying $20,000 plus dollars. These smaller trucks are no longer made anymore as the new Colorado's are not even available in a regular cab. This is easy to park and maneuver and does not take much garage space up either.
The documentation with this truck is incredible. I have the original window sticker, build sheet, original purchase agreement, original owners manual and salesman card that sold the truck new, all original receipts and service history since new, copies of original titles, Clean CarFax History Report, original sales brochure, all documented in a nice portfolio of everything that is shown in the photo. Original tire and wheels receipt, etc. Most people do not even have this kind of documentation on an older collector car vehicle much less a Colorado truck!
It was obvious how great of a man the original owner was and how well he kept up on things.
This truck has never been used as a work truck or a rental and I do not think you will find one any better.
