Description
For sale is a 1966 Corvair Corsa convertible in very good driver condition. Car is finished in Aztec Bronze exterior and interior which is true to the paint code. Paint is driver quality I would say a good 10 footer.
Engine is the 140 hp corsa engine with a single 4 bbl holley carburetor. Tires and rear strut rod bushings are new. Everything works on this car with the exception of the radio.
For the bad news, rear vinyl window is separated from the top in the upper left corner. Missing rear cocktail shakers, one tiny oil leak from oil filter adapter and there is evidence of body filler where the windshield posts meet the cowl.
Engine starts right up and runs great. Electric choke is not hooked up which makes for hard starting on cold days.
This is an exceptionally nice and rare Corsa convertible. This car would make a good base for a full restoration, or just buy and drive.
I have taken some pictures of the underside, best I could do with a floor jack. There is evidence of rust repair on the car, but it was cosmetic. This car is solid. I also have the cocktail shakers for the rear.
