Description
For sale today, we have a virtually rust free 1963 Corvair Monza convertible from Florida. I have receipts from Clarks Corvair Parts totaling over $3000 dollars for new parts! The Engine is totally rebuilt with new bearings, pistons, cylinders, rings, cam and gear, lifters, push rods, rocker arms, ect. The heads were rebuilt and new valves installed and the carbs rebuilt. There is brand new Clarks repo seat upholstery already installed on the front and read seats, a new Clarks convertible top has been installed and new door panels are yet to be installed. I do NOT have a new carpet set or padded dashyou will have to select the color and buy that on your own. There is a new gas tank and sender installed, the front and rear brakes have been overhauled, the read end has been resealed and the 4-speed transmission has had new syncros installed and been resealed. 4 brand new KYB gas shocks are still in the box and ready for you to install. The original floors and in the car and solid, the common rust areas like..battery box, spare tire well, rockers, rear "dog legs", front valance and trunk are all rock solidsee pix. The paint is "daily driver" quality. The car runs, drives, stops and turns as it should. All the interior parts that have been removed to spruce up the interior are marked and in boxes in the car, ready for you to install. The rear air grill that is missing in the pictures is in the trunk. The car is all there! This would be a fantastic car to finish the interior on and just drive or a huge jump start on a restoration because you are starting with a car that is NOT rotted and mechanically sound! The car starts right up every time and does not leak anything at all. I bought the car from a gentleman who wanted to restore the car and enjoy it. Unfortunately, he developed brain cancer before the engine overhaul was completed, and sold it to me to help get his affairs in order. I finished the drivetrain overhaul and got it running but, now it is time for it to go to a new home. I have way too many projects. I have a hoist and encourage you to come and check it out if you are near. I will put it in the air and you can see for yourself just how nice the car is. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call my cell at 715-675-9504. I can also text you pictures of specific areas if you wish. Shipping the car is your responsibility. I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit via pay-pal at auction close and pick up and payment in full within 7 days, unless other arrangements are made BEFORE auction close. I will require payment IN CASH or bank wire transfer before pick up of the car will be allowed. I will NOT accept checks, money orders, bank checks, green stamps, etc. Cash or bank wire transfer ONLY! I have a clear title in hand. Driving it home is an option if you are brave enough to drive a 60 year old car a distance. Thank you for looking and, HAPPY BIDDING!
