Description
1963 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier VanOwnership since 1983; 102 HP car engine; rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission; 3.27:1 differential currently in vehicle; Clear, clean and unsigned title; licensed as a Classic Car (no annual registration fees and transferrable within the State of Pennsylvania
Brake hydraulic fluid changed to synthetic (Dot 5); rebuilt distributor from Clark's Corvair Parts in August of this year; new points, cam dwell angle and timing set to specs; generator changed of alternator charging system; battery less than one year old.
Mag-style wheels and P215/70R14 tires with a spare of the same size; direct air heating system works; EXTRA 80 HP FC Engine (engine stand tested and runs), 3 speed manual transmission and 3.89:1 differential goes with the vehicle. This is a complete extra drive train that is not hooked together. So, there are two drive trains with this van. Second drive train is behind the front seat. Have I made myself clear? Cyrstal.
Van does not have a middle or back bench seat; much rust and body work to repair rust is needed; all glass is there, and Panasonic CD\stereo system installed. All lights, wipers and Panasonic system work. Van runs and drives but would recommend towing if taking a long distance from current site due to the weight of the extra drive train. Restoration or parts, your choice. Mileage on engine, guessing at 80,000. Despite its looks, this truck has been mechanically cared for many years.
Van is for sale locally and may be sold before auction ends.
