1981 Chevrolet Corvette Resto Mod
This car has just under 71,000. New crate engine with less than 2,000 miles. 325hp and 375 ft. lbs. torque. Transmission was removed, cleaned, painted and resealed. Installed a Boss Hog torque converter. Lots of aluminum on the car. Finned pan for engine and transmission. Hi torque mini starter. New flex plate. Nearly everything on the car has been has been replaced within the last 7500 miles. Rebuilt Rochester carb. Aluminum radiator. Heavy duty transmission cooler with braided lines. New Alternator. All new steering components including steering box and valve. Pump is original. Aluminum pulleys. Chrome hi flow water pump. New engine mounts. New fuel pump. New Distributor 65k with race wires. New trailing arms. Replaced header bar. KYB shocks. 550 lb. front springs. Rebuilt differential. All new Moog U-joints. Upper and lower A-arm bushings and ball joints .New parking brake cable. New battery. Mirror T-tops in excellent condition. New wood steering wheel. American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels with PVD finish and Nitto 555 tires in great condition. This car does not have A/C. Power door locks do not work. Tach has been tested and is in working order however it is not getting a signal. Gas guage bounces, Kenwood Stereo with Pioneer speakers. It looks fantastic and is great to take to the local car shows. It gets a lot of attention. I have had the car for over six years and its time to get a newer model. I have a book of receipts. I do not know how much I have spent on the car but it is in excess of the asking price and none of that cost is labor as I did my own work. Please serious inquiries only. This car goes nowhere without me. You cannot drive the car unless you have the funds to purchase it. If the car does not sell I will keep it without any reservations. The body and paint are in great condition but there are some small cracks typical for these cars given the age The title is clean. I will be happy to answer any questions that you have. I do not need any help selling this car and I don't want to put it on consignment with anybody. The car is regularly driven and enjoyed. I will also throw in a dial back timing light, water pump, assembly manual, shop manual and two boxes of various small parts.
