1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

I have been a dealer here in Pasco county for over 35 years and I have owned Corvettes most of my adult life, now semi retired I still like to buy and sell Corvettes .This is a 1974 L82 engine with the correct block stamping and numbers to prove it ,the 350 cubic inch with 250 horsepower was the highest HP 350 offered in 1974. It is a factory 4 speed with factory air conditioning, very few of these are 4 speed with A/C cars. The 74 was a very unique year ,the first year for impact bumpers front and rear with the rear bumper being a two piece design for the 74 only , it is also the last year corvette to leave the factory without a catalytic converter . The car is a red car and has always been a red car, the car looks to have had one repaint in it's life and still retains a beautiful shine with the normal touched up nicks and scratches that occur over the years but it has always been a red car .The red with black interior and a white top has always been the best color combo for a corvette, the white top looks to be the original one and is still in good shape, with the rear window starting to show slight signs of it's age. This is a true survivor showing 44,000 miles on the odometer and by the looks of the original seats and the overall condition of the car it appears to be actual, everyone states that their corvette has low miles but with the lack of records that where kept 40 plus years ago its very hard to verify, so all you can do is go by the condition. The car runs and drives as it should and other than normal items that have to be replaced over the years like brakes, battery, water pump, mufflers,tires ect. and a few upgrades like HEI distributor, static free retro am/fm radio and headers for that vintage V8 sound it remains as it was in 1974. Everything works as it should including the headlights, clock ,interior lights and key buzzer, even has the original spare tire .It is not a perfect car but If you are looking for a older corvette and have been priced out of this rapidly appreciating market and if you are tired of looking at beat up old cars then this is the car for you.
