Description

Up for sale is my 1980 L82 Corvette. I have loved this body style ofCorvette since I was a little kid and hate to sell it, but I'm workingon my pilot license and need to clear out some toys to make roomphysically and financially for my new flying toys. This car has been mynice weather car for the past 5 years and has been a blast to drive! Itis very dependable and I would drive it any distance without hesitation.

The car was painted a year or two before I bought it. I would call itdecent, but I'm pretty picky about paint. It has some small spidercracks on both bumpers, and small chips from typical road wear.Definitely nice enough to turn heads.
The interior is in great condition with only 1 small hole on the driver seat from entry/exit wear. Seats are original!
A couple years ago I installed a ceramic thermal barrier and sounddeadening, along with a nice aftermarket stereo system. Sony head unit,Infinity speakers, Polk Audio sub in a custom box in matching carpet, and a Rockford Fosgate amp.

I had the car aligned last August after I replaced all the steering and suspension components listed further below.
The only things that dont work are the Tach and the dash clock. The ACworks but leaks down over the winter. I just enjoy cruising with thewindows down too much to have gotten it fixed yet.

I have receipts for everything that has been done to the car, both by myself and the previous owner.

Details:

90,xxx miles
Runs and drives GREAT!
350 V8 with a 700R4 with a shift kit. (4 speed auto makes highway cruising more pleasant and still gets good mileage)
Previous owner installed Edelbrock Pro-Flow fuel injection with Edelbrock Performer heads and intake with a matching cam.
Edelbrock lists this head and cam package at 380 hp.

In the past 500 miles I have done the following:
New upper/lower control arm bushings
Control arms were blasted and painted
MOOG upper/lower ball joints
VB&P performance lowering springs
Heavy duty tie rods with inner and outer tie rod ends
Rear control arms - fully rebuilt units from Van Steel
Rebuilt diff with 3.73 gearing from Duntov Motor Company
Poly urethane diff mount bushings
Dougs Headers chrome side pipes (These sound AMAZING!)
Wilwood D8 calipers with Wilwood master cylinder
Walbro inline fuel pump

Since purchasing the car, I have also replaced the front and rear sway bar bushings with polyurethane bushings
Upgraded the distributor to Edelbrocks newer optic unit vs the old magnetic style.
MSD plugs with MSD wires and distributor cap/rotor.
Plug wire insulating boots
MSD blaster coil
Header wrap
K&N air filter with flow through lid
Weiand water pump
Double roller timing chain
Vintage Wheel Works wheels 17/9.5 Powder coated gun metal grey - these are the same wheels on Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds.
Continental tires have less than 1000 miles on them
Headlights were upgraded to electrical actuation rather than vacuum. They work flawlessly and come up together unlike the originals
All headlight pivot bushings and springs were replaced at the same time.
Hydraulic steering cylinder
Steering proportioning valve

I have a couple other items that go along with the car if the buyer wants them:
A new black rubber console piece to replace the blue one and help make the interior flow better
Door sill plates that say Corvette.

I am more than willing to text or email pictures of anything youd like to see or have more detail of so dont hesitate to ask!
