Description
1969 Corvette Stingray
350/350 L46 / 4speed
My wife bought the car for me for Christmas 2009 with 82,000 miles on it. It was bought from a classic car dealer in Amarillo Texas. The car is original numbers matching and has not been restored to my knowledge. As you can see in the pictures the Texas state inspection sticker from 1969 is still in the window on the passenger side. The engine may have been overhauled at some point but I can not tell for sure. The car had a solid steering column when we bought it. She had the Classic dealer put a telescoping / tilt column out of another 1969 so that I could fit I it. I am 6'5" and my legs didn't fit under the other column. I kept the original column. They also put a new gas tank in. Breaks / Calipers have been replaced in the last 4 years. I also put a Crane Cams XR-i Ignition Points conversion ignition kit in the original distributor. The A/C worked when I got it. When I kept having to recharge it I took the belt off. I always have the T-tops off and didn't need A/C. The car runs great and is a major head turner. We have enjoyed driving her on nice days and have done a few drive-in car shows for fun. We are spending more time at the lake and are refocusing toys. Please only contact me if you are seriously interested.
